Hanging on by a thin thread?

With everything going on in the world today, it is no surprise that people are desperately looking for a source of hope and encouragement.  Whether you are wrestling with depression, addiction, family troubles, or a lack of purpose, we believe Jesus is the answer.

The sole reason for our existence as a church family is because of the indescribable love that Jesus Christ has for all people.  It is our deepest desire that you and your family come to know Jesus and experience the freedom that comes from following Him.

We believe that the Bible offers a clear roadmap for finding unfailing hope in Jesus.

God loves you (yes, YOU!)
God loves you so much that He was willing to go to great lengths to have a relationship with you.
John 3:16; 1 John 4:16

Humans are born into sin
When we choose to follow our own desires and plans over God’s perfect plan, we are living in sin.  Sin simply means “missing the mark”.  If you’ve ever told a lie, gossiped, or taken something that doesn’t belong to you the Bible says you are a sinner.  In fact, the Bible says that all people have sinned.  None of us can measure up to God’s perfect standard.
Romans 3:23; James 1:15

We cannot save ourselves
Apart from Christ, there is nothing we can do to save ourselves.  No one can be good enough to earn God’s approval on their own.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16

Sounds grim right?

But the truth of the Gospel only becomes good news when we fully understand how dire our situation is.  Solet’s get to the good part…

Jesus died to remove the barrier between God and us
Because of our sin problem, we can never approach a Holy God on our own.  Jesus paid the price to bridge that gap for all people.  Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:14

An act of faith can restore us to relationship with God
The Bible tells us that if we believe with our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is LORD, we can be reconciled to God.  Faith in Jesus allows us to trade our list of sins for His perfect track record.  Jesus willingly paid the debt that we owed.
Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6

God makes it easy for us to mend our relationship with Him.
Have you taken the step to accept Jesus’ gift of eternal life?
